So, I think the title says it all. Kent is officially old! Friday was Kent's actual birthday, but we had a surprise party the Sunday before, and man was he surprised! I had the hardest time getting him out of the house, but luckily his brother Kevin came through and took him shooting at the range for a couple of hours. It was so cute, because I had been out of town for a work conference for the last 3 days, and he didn't want to leave me at home. I was making excuses about all the work that I could get done while he and his brother were gone, and he kept trying to convince me that I could do it later. Ahh... it's good to be missed.
The party was a great success. Kent loved the poker theme. Sadly, the house was so full of people that we didn't get a chance to have an actual tournament. Oh well... next time, right. Thanks so much to everyone that helped pull it off. It was great to have both sides of the family there. I didn't know how sneaky my family really was, ha ha. We really don't get to see each other enough.
D'oh! We missed his birthday! HAPPY LATE BIRTHDAY KENT! It's been way too crazy around here. Sounds like the party was a fun one!
